For the trek up to Santa Rosa, we packed Lily (the baby-you should know this by now...) and Jacki (Granna) in the car and headed out with more baby toys and jumpy gyms than photography equipment. We stayed overnight and prepared for the wedding in the morning. It's about 3 hours (2.5 if you're driving like the wind) to Santa Rosa from Santa Cruz. We were excited for our first out of town wedding for the season. Lily slept through most of her excitement though.
Regina's Mom has the cutest little dogs, we had our own little photo shoot. Another great day in the life of us wedding photographers! Regina was very sweet, especially since she was wearing her Monique Lhuillier dress and her Christian Louboutin shoes and her new diamond earrings from Andrew. Margy at the Hollins House in Pasatiempo (an amazing golf course if you didn't know) needed some images of her conference rooms all set up. They do plenty of gorgeous weddings, and they are beginning to offer great conference center packages for companies as well. It will be a nice retreat, especially considering it has one of the best views in the entire county.

Shelby & Justin brought their child along with them, as you will see below. Shelby is from Texas, and they have planned a beautiful, intimate wedding at a private home in Aptos, which happens to be about 2 blocks from where I grew up! Just above this beach in fact...I still remember the days at the beach skimboarding....ahhh Rio.

Today was the first time we met. A&A are from SoCal and are getting married at Pebble Beach. They just love Bernardus and the vineyard, so we met here. One of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer, is doing the engagement portraits. I get to be so creative, and always do something a little bit different. Talk about great smiles! Will is a UFC fighter...ok, maybe he's not, but he's big enough to be. Will was the epitome of the high school jock, being the MVP quarterback, point guard and shortstop. For all you ladies reading this, that means he played the top positions in football, basketball & baseball, and he was really good. See you at the racetrack, Will!
