What a rush. I felt like a kid at Christmas....or in a candy store...or whatever. Giddy as a schoolboy. Anyway, I am hooked. I got to take my car (a BMW M3) out to Laguna Seca with some family and friends, and drive it on the track all day long. All I can say is, "When do I get to do it again?" I met one of my clients last year, Andrew Proaps, and he said that I could go out to the track with him. I've always wanted to, and when I rode with him, I knew that I really wanted to drive my own car on the track. I also have another 2 clients and a few friends that have very cool cars and/or racing experience, so it seems we have our own little club. My good friend Will Brought out his Mustang and drove it as well. Enjoy some photos, I'll try to post a video sometime soon.

This is my track car. I am constantly upgrading it...there is a laundry list still to do...

Bilstein coilover suspension with strut tower braces and x-brace

3.5" cold air intake system and chipped with a larger intake manifold & UD pulleys

Dropping through the famous Laguna Seca corkscrew

Hitting just over 100MPH on the uphill straightaway

My first car was this 1965 Mustang Fastback that I rebuilt from the ground up

I built the engine in high school auto shop with around 350 horsepower

It had a Hurst toploader 4-speed and a 9"posi-rear end, along with lowered and stiffened suspension

I eventually sold the car to a good friend in 1999. Then I got the M3, which I love. It's my 3rd one...(I'm crazy like that)
