Laughs, a mile a minute. Hi-jinks (I love that word, although I'm not quite sure what it actually means...) and some seriously goofy behavior. Mixed in with all of this, we captured and created some really beautiful, romantic photographs. Stephanie & Keoni are getting married at the Lodge at Pebble Beach, and they live in SF, not far from where we photographed them. What a day! Eric Callero came along for the shoot to add his film-maker's touch to the session. Congratulations to Eric for landing the lead in a feature film..(he's also a talented actor.) We made sure Steph & Keo got an autograph before we left.
I love to play with scale. This was with a 15mm fisheye, and a strobe set to the same angle as the sun
24mm wide shot up the arch, nice kiss!
I saw this light and simply had to have it. It goes like that a lot, actually. Very spontaneous.
This beam of light coming through the Palace was very beautiful. I had Eric reflecting light on them, and then composited 2 layers in photoshop for detail in the highlights and shadows.
Backlit by the sun coming through the structure
I didn't feel the need to warn them...at least they didn't have dinner plans.
That was cold...Now this one I did not see coming...I swear!
Shot at 300mm exposing for the sky
He didn't do it, but for a second I thought he might...
Keoni, Stephanie, Eric and me after the sunset. Steph checks to see if Keo is smiling properly...Our hair is windblown, and our noses, cold.
