Caribbean Cruise April 2007

Well we’re off! Mish and I are on a 15 day Caribbean cruise on the Crown Princess with Princess Cruise Lines, and a much needed vacation. Of course, we are still addicted to taking photographs, so we brought a few cameras. Most of the below images are taken using a Canon PowerShot SD500 Digital ELPH compact Camera. It has a little 3X zoom and 7.1 megapixels for those of you who are techno-geeks. If you know what you are doing, you can actually get some really great photographs using point-and-shoot cameras. I have even gotten images with little cameras like these that people think are from a professional camera. Our other camera that we brought is my Canon 1Ds mark II 16.7mp camera with a 24-70mm f2.8 lens. I have used it a little, but as I said, this is vacation, and we’ve been by the pool most of the time. So far, we’ve been in Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, St. Kitts and Grenada. We’re off to Bonaire right now and will be there in the morning. In St. Thomas, Mish and I went to Magen’s Bay Beach, rated one of the top 10 beaches in the world by National geographic. At St. Kitts, we took a catamaran to Nevis, another beautiful small island situated right next to it. Here's the ship at the dock the first time we saw it. Unbelievable!
